Corey Thomas is the CEO of Rapid7, as well as the chairman of its board of directors. In 2023, Corey was appointed to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) and elected chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Corey is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts board of directors, LPL Financial board of directors, and Vanderbilt University board of trust. He is an active angel investor to technology companies, advisor to organizations undergoing technology transformation, and sought after speaker and panelist. He previously served on the U.S. Commerce Department's Digital Economy Board of Advisors. Corey has extensive experience leading technology companies to the next stage of growth and innovation. Prior to joining Rapid7, Corey spent time at Parallels, Inc., Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting, and AT&T. Corey received a B.E. in electrical engineering and computer science from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
President & Chief Operating Officer
Andrew leads Rapid7’s go-to-market, product development and service delivery initiatives including global sales, marketing, customer success, engineering, consulting, and IT functions. Previously, he was the CEO of Logentries, a leading provider of scalable, real-time machine data search and analytics technology, acquired by Rapid7 in October 2015. Prior to Logentries, Andrew was SVP of products and engineering at LogMeIn, Inc., where he played an instrumental role in leading the company from venture-backed startup through a successful IPO and on to a high-growth public company. Andrew also held senior product and go-to-market roles at Symantec Corporation, IMLogic, Inc. and Groove Networks. Andrew earned a B.S. from Oregon State University, a MSc Information Systems from University College Dublin, and a MBA from Boston College.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim is the Chief Financial Officer at Rapid7. Working in concert with the other members of the leadership team, his extensive experience is instrumental in fortifying and scaling the company in its mission to provide the best in security operations.
Tim brings more than a decade of financial leadership experience in the technology industry, most recently serving as CFO of BitSight Technologies. He previously served as CFO of ObsEva SA, Demandware, Inc., and athenahealth, Inc. Tim began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, formerly Price Waterhouse. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Murray State University and an MBA from Boston University.
Chief People Officer
Christina leads Rapid7's strategic people initiatives, focusing on the entire employee lifecycle. She has a leading approach to human resources and a strong commitment to recruiting stellar talent, corporate culture, and acquisition integration. Prior to joining Rapid7, Christina was the founder of People Innovations, a consulting firm focused on the creation of innovative people strategies. Her other previous positions include chief people officer at @stake (a professional services security firm she helped build that was eventually acquired by Symantec), and VP of people strategy at Sapient Corporation. She holds a B.A. in psychology from George Washington University and a M.S. in organizational administration from Boston University.
Chief Customer Officer
Larry is the Chief Customer Officer at Rapid7, leading the end-to-end customer lifecycle, across new customer sales, customer onboarding, health and retention, customer support and services, and customer expansion. Larry brings more than 25 years of experience in building and scaling successful global go-to-market teams across these areas.
Prior to joining Rapid7, Larry served as a Senior Advisor at numerous software companies and private equity firms, including Cove Hill Partners, Sixth Street Growth, and ZipRecruiter. He also served on the board of directors at Notarize, and stepped in as President to help the company hire its executive team and drive new customer acquisition. Before operating as an advisor, Larry served as Chief Sales Officer of LogMeIn for over 8 years, where he helped the company grow from $100M in revenue to $1.4B.
Larry holds a B.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
Chief Security Officer
Jaya Baloo is an information security professional with more than 20 years’ experience leading and contributing to secure network architecture. As Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Rapid7, Jaya leads the efforts to evolve and mature the company’s internal security program, engages with customers as well as with the wider security community, and collaborates across all Rapid7 teams to develop and showcase security best practices.
Before joining Rapid7, Jaya was CISO at Avast and at KPN, the largest telecommunications carrier in the Netherlands, where she established and led its security team to create world class best practices in strategy and policy. Jaya has also been a faculty member of Singularity University since 2017, where she regularly lectures.
Jaya sits on the advisory boards of the NL’s National Cyber Security Centre, PQCrypto, and the EU Quantum Flagship’s Strategic Advisory Board. She serves on the audit committee of TIIN capital, a cybersecurity fund, and is also a board member of the RvT of the Dutch Broadcasting station, the NOS. She is recognized within the list of top 100 CISOs globally.
Chief Marketing Officer
Cindy Stanton leads the Marketing organization. She has previously held positions in Customer and Product Marketing and led the Vulnerability Risk Management practice which included product, engineering, and go-to-customer, in support of vulnerability management, application security, and offensive security.
Before joining Rapid7, Cindy developed the Public Cloud and Federal Government business at Qualys. She also led Commercial Product Management at Alert Logic, developing SaaS and managed services to secure public cloud and hybrid workloads. Prior to Alert Logic, she spent 10 years in global product management at Verizon Business building out the Security Services portfolio. She began her career in security as the Operations Director at a boutique security firm in London providing application assessment and managed security services to financial services, oil and gas, and retail organizations.
Cindy has an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College in Biology and a Masters of Engineering degree from the Engineering Systems Division at MIT. Cindy lives in Washington, DC with her husband, two daughters and her stepson.
Chief Information and Business Transformation Officer
Bridget Collins is the Chief Information and Business Transformation Officer at Rapid7. She was previously Chief Transformation Officer and CIO at Cerence, leading the company’s Global Technology Solutions and Quality Management teams while delivering value and driving cross-functional initiatives. Bridget’s other past experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Nuance Communications, where she was responsible for the full suite of business applications as well as developing and managing Nuance’s Program Management function. She also held IT leadership positions at Progress Software and was part of the Engineering team at Daly & Wolcott (now Infor). Bridget holds a BS degree from Providence College and an MBA, High Technology, from Northeastern University.
Senior Vice President, Chief Business Officer
Stephanie Furfaro is the Chief Business Officer leading Rapid7's global partnerships and responsible for driving growth strategy, initiatives and enablement. A trusted operator with an extensive background building and scaling global sales and customer teams, Stephanie brings over 25 years of experience in high growth software companies, including Allaire, Macromedia, and Adobe. Stephanie joined Rapid7 in 2011 to develop business strategy and sales operations and then as the Chief of Staff to the CEO working with the executive team to lead strategic initiatives. Prior to her role as Chief Business Officer Stephanie served as the SVP for global growth teams at Rapid7 and as an advisor to venture funded startups. A proud Boston native, Stephanie holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from Suffolk University.
Senior Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer
Scott leads all of Rapid7’s accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax provisioning and compliance, internal audit and SOX compliance, as well as our transactional finance functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. Prior to joining Rapid7, Scott most recently served as Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. Prior to his tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton, Scott held a number of senior finance and accounting roles at Iron Mountain, Inc. Scott began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, LLP, and holds an MSA and BSBA in Accounting from Bryant University.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Sales
Dave leads the commercial sales organization at Rapid7 where he is responsible for leading the go-to-market and growth of the commercial sales business. He began his career at Rapid7 ten years ago as the Director of East Coast Sales before quickly being promoted to Vice President of the Americas where he helped lead the company to $100M in sales and bring the company public in 2015. He also played an important role in Rapid7's newly-formed IDR organization in 2017 and helped it quickly become a significant contributor to the company’s overall success. Prior to joining Rapid7, he spent eight years at Oracle in various sales roles. Dave is a graduate of Boston College.
Senior Vice President, Managed Services & Consulting Services Delivery
Jeremiah leads Rapid7's Managed Services and Product Delivery initiatives. This includes Product Management, UX and Design, and overseeing the delivery and operations teams for Rapid7’s Managed Services offerings, Strategic Consulting services, and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) partner strategy. Prior to joining Rapid7, he served as a Vice President in Stroz Friedberg’s Incident Response practice and led FireEye’s Managed Services business for the Americas. Earlier in his career, Jeremiah supported the United States Government. During this tenure, he consulted with SAIC and Booz Allen, and served as a program leader for various federal agencies. He holds a B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, and an M.S. in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Raisa leads our legal team and is responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of Rapid7’s legal affairs worldwide, including contracting, licensing, strategic intellectual property creation and protection, employment law, data privacy, compliance and corporate governance. Raisa joined Rapid7 in 2015 and established Rapid7’s compliance and capital markets internal capabilities after guiding the company through a successful IPO. Prior to joining Rapid7, Raisa was a corporate and securities attorney at the Boston offices of the law firm Cooley LLP where she represented and counseled public and private technology companies in securities and capital markets transactions, securities compliance, venture capital financings, M&A, and corporate governance. She received a B.A. in women’s studies from University of Wisconsin - Madison and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
Senior Vice President, Platform and Engineering
Pete leads the Platform and Infrastructure efforts at Rapid7, driving new avenues of growth for the Insight platform and the company overall. Pete brings a passion for developing people and technology alongside a track record of running high trust, high energy teams that are driven by empowering customer success. He possesses more than 20 years of leadership in software development spanning product development, design, product management, operations and security.
Prior to joining Rapid7, Pete most recently served as the Vice President of Cloud Platform Development at IBM, leading the global team responsible for developing and operating the services at the core of the IBM Cloud. Across his prior executive leadership roles, Pete has driven innovation and growth to provide deep integration, seamless user experience, scale and resiliency. Pete holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.
Senior Vice President & Chief Scientist
Raj Samani is a computer security expert responsible for extending the scope and reach of Rapid7’s research initiatives. Raj joins Rapid7 from McAfee where he served as McAfee Fellow and Chief Scientist after serving as VP and Chief Technical Officer in EMEA. Raj has assisted multiple law enforcement agencies in cybercrime cases, and is special advisor to the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) in The Hague.
Raj has been recognized for his contribution to the computer security industry through numerous awards, including the Infosecurity Europe hall of Fame, Peter Szor award, Intel Achievement Award, among others. Raj is also the co-author of the book 'Applied Cyber Security and the Smart Grid', CSA Guide to Cloud computing, as well as technical editor for numerous other publications.
Senior Vice President, Finance
Sunil serves as Rapid7’s Senior Vice President of Finance, leading the company’s finance and business strategy alignment. He brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance, technology, and public markets to his role overseeing the organization's FP&A, finance strategy, investor relations and business intelligence teams. Since joining Rapid7 in 2020, Sunil has partnered with leaders across the business in various leadership roles, including building the Strategic Finance function, leading Investor Relations, and serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior to joining Rapid7, Sunil most recently served as VP of Strategic Finance & Investor Relations at Imperva, a leader in data and application security. Earlier in his career, Sunil built extensive public markets and technology sector expertise, spending time as a technology investor and equity analyst for multiple investment firms, prior to which he began his career in technology consulting. Sunil received a B.S. in computer science from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
Senior Vice President, Strategic People Operations
Julie leads the Rapid7 foundational teams behind Compensation, Benefits, People Operations, People Systems and Talent Acquisition focused on attracting, engaging, and retaining the best talent across the globe. She drives programs and initiatives across People Strategy, leveraging technology, while ensuring alignment to the company’s strategic objectives and in support of our culture and core values. Julie brings a balance of strategy and process to every endeavor she tackles, and the combination of her work ethic and thoughtful approach has proven highly effective to both the business and our employees. She joined the company in 2017, with significant global leadership experience in performance-driven cultures. Earlier in her career, Julie handled the intersection of talent, total rewards, and company goals for Cimpress (Vistaprint), Progress Software, Nypro, and MetLife. She has a BS in Business from Northeastern University with a dual concentration in Human Resources and Management Information Systems.
Senior Vice President, Business & Corporate Development
Julian is a Senior Vice President and leads Rapid7’s business development, corporate development and strategic alliance initiatives. He brings more than 30 years of experience in advising companies on rapid market expansion, building enterprise SaaS companies, cybersecurity initiatives, mergers and acquisitions. Julian collaborates with the Rapid7 leadership team in the opening and growth phases of the company’s new Tampa, Florida office. He also is instrumental in promoting open-source software initiatives as well as Rapid7’s overall efforts to foster a more open security ecosystem.
Julian recently led Cyber Solutions and Public Sector for Devo, spearheading a $9.5MM award for the company to act as the global SIEM technology provider for the United States Air Force. As an active industry leader and mentor, his professional roles include Chairman of Cyversity, formerly the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP) and Board Director to Lynx Technology Partners. Julian is passionate about building diverse and inclusive teams to tackle the greatest cybersecurity challenges.

Mike Berry is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer for cloud data services provider NetApp®. He also serves on the board of directors of FinancialForce.com, Inc., a cloud-based applications company, and as chair of its audit committee. He has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for McAfee, LLC, and held similar C-suite positions at FireEye and Informatica before that. Mike has also held financial leadership positions at IO Data Centers, SolarWinds, Inc., and i2 Technologies, Inc. His education includes earning a B.A. in finance from Augsburg College and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of St. Thomas. Mike Berry has served as a member of the Rapid7 board of directors since November 2012. He currently holds the position of Audit Committee Chairman.

Marc is currently partner and global head of EQT Growth at EQT Group, where his technology experience informs strategic decision-making at the investment organization. Additionally, he is a partner at Union Bay, LLC, a private investment firm. Previously, he was corporate vice president of corporate development at Microsoft Corporation. While there, Marc led acquisitions that included LinkedIn, GitHub, and Minecraft. He also made notable strategic investments into companies such as Flipkart, Databricks, and Graphcore. He holds an A.B. in economics from Colgate University, an MBA from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Marc Brown has served as a member of the Rapid7 board of directors since July 2016.

Judy served as the executive vice president, administration and chief financial officer of SanDisk Corp, a supplier of flash storage products, from June 2004 until its acquisition by Western Digital Corporation in mid-2016. She currently serves on the board of directors of Applied Materials, Inc., a publicly traded semiconductor manufacturer and as chair of its corporate governance and nominating committee and as a member of its audit committee. In addition, Judy serves on the board of directors of Seagate Technology plc, a publicly traded provider of storage solutions, and as a chair of its audit committee and a member of its nominating and governance committee. Judy also serves on the board of directors of Qorvo, Inc., an American semiconductor company that designs, manufactures, and supplies radio-frequency systems for applications. Judy holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a MBA from the University of Santa Clara. Judy Bruner has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2016.

Christina is CEO of LogicMonitor, where she also previously served as President. Prior to joining LogicMonitor, she was VP, Global Head of Customer Success and Services of Slack Technologies, Inc. for four years. From May 2002 to February 2017, Christina was employed by Salesforce.com, Inc., where she served most recently as SVP, Revenue Lifecycle Management and Customer Success. Christina received a B.S. in industrial engineering from Northwestern University.

Ben is a partner at Venture Guides, an early-stage investment firm. His previous positions include leading the technology and infrastructure investing efforts for Bain Capital Venture Partners, SVP at Veritas Software Corporation, COO and CFO of Precise Software Solutions, Ltd., and director of SolarWinds. Ben received a B.A. in government from Harvard College and a MBA from Harvard Business School. J. Benjamin Nye has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2008 and holds the position of Chairman of the Compensation Committee.

Tom is the founder of View Consulting, an advisory firm for technology companies, and an author. Previously, Tom served as SVP, field operations of Splunk, Inc., a provider of log management and analytic systems software. Prior to that, Tom served as VP and general manager of BMC Software, Inc.’s Identity Business Unit. He currently serves on the board of directors of Tufin and is a member of the audit committee. In addition, Tom serves on the boards of directors for Egnyte, Inc., Outsystems, and Kaseya. Tom holds a B.S.B.A. from The Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Dayton.

Reeny is the Chief Digital Officer at Twilio, a market leader in Cloud Communications. Prior to Twilio, she was the Chief Security Officer at Autodesk and was responsible for driving the company’s security and trust strategy for its infrastructure, products, and services. She previously led security engineering for EMC, now part of Dell. She made a transition to security after many years in product management launching multiple hardware and software products.
